Enough with the freakin' Pansys already!
75*, 29% humidity, SSW 15 mph gusting to 27 mph wind, sunny
I have to show you these pansies again.... Tired of them yet? Because I'm not.
I went to go get some top soil to finish off my blueberry bed today.... The blue berries are little but they will get lots bigger with time.
A few things popped into my cart at the nursery when I was buying the soil.
Woolly thyme
Can ya tell I like thyme? I used to have a carpet of many different kinds in my CA garden that I had planted in my blackberry bed. It was nice walking in there....
And my last purchase of the day....
And my last purchase of the day....
Look how dark red the leaves are. Its just WAY TOO COOL! (Is it odd that things like this excite me?)
If these things don't bring in bees, I don't know what will. I've seen no bees yet still. A few yellow jackets and a couple bumble bees...lots of butterflies...but no bees. :(

2 seeds of thought:
I bought that same Lobelia about a week ago! It's VERY cool!
Nickie, I also bought 3 Lobelias. I had one a couple years ago and loved it... so did the hummers. I put it in front of a Russian Sage and it was a stunning combination. Have to be careful though because sage likes more sun. Beautiful thyme plant! Wish I could find some like that in my nurseries.
