My Pintree Garden Seeds Order has arrived!
28*, feels like 18*, 90% humidity, SW 12 mph wind, cloudy, 1.5" new snow fell over night
Last night when I got home from a pretty rough night at work and a long slippery drive home, there was a package on my doorstep. Now, I was THRILLED to see this package. After all, it was the thing that kept me going last night. "Maybe there will be a package on the doorstep!," I kept telling myself. And Lo and behold, there was! This thrilled me to no end. I brought it in and opened it quickly. As you can see, I bought a nice assortment of books. Real drool material and the kicker...none of these books cost more then $4! Pinetree's books are always a great deal. I almost feel like I'm cheating them. Almost. All my seeds came except for my wintergreen and hosta hybrids mix which they were out of and the sprouting jar toppers were out too but hopefully they will come within a month because I can't use my sprouting seeds that came with the order without them and I really want to make sprouts!

I was just as excited when I got my order from Pinetree! I also ordered from Park's the end of Nov. when everything was 35% off. I have one stevia plant, and bought more seeds, let me know if there is any good recipes in that book.
Wow you are getting a great jump on the season. I usually don't even peek at my catalogs till after Christmas. It is my favorite Christmas vacation pastime. I have bought some yummy amaryllis bulbs though, which I will start after Christmas. I love to watch something new growing in January. Thanks for dropping by.
I hope you have good luck with your stevia seeds. The book says seeds are not all that reliable. If you have a good source of seed maybe 50% will sprout and dark seeds sprout better then light colored seeds for some reason. But, I always like a challenge! :)
You can also start them from cuttings but I haven't read that much yet. :)
A woman who is: I can't go one moment without interacting with dirt and growing things. Winter is a TOUGH thing for me LOL! Someday I'm going to go back to zone 9 and garden all year agian. Now THAT is nice :)
