I have an awful time with African violets, so I envy you. I think I have a tendancy to overwater them. Oh, and you didn't read my 'seed starting weekend' blog post all the way to the bottom, did you? lol.
I miss my African Violets. At my last house I had a perfect Northern window and I collected many varieties and colors. I just don't have a good place here and every attempt fails. Your window display is beautiful.
They're beautiful!! Mine are in the dining room, in a east facing window. But mine are not thriving, due to neglect, probably. Hopefully they can hold out til I get some of these other plants outside.
Trapped in Cornfields....
This is my story, my life, in Indiana.
I love seeds. Seeds are like the mystery of the universe all packaged up in a handy little carrying case. :) Forget those people who tell you it's better not to try to grow a seed. That it won't amount to anything worthwhile. To those folks I say pooey! Every seed has potential and most of all hope which is a good enough reason for me.
I garden in a swell, surrounded by farms, swamp, and a stone's throw from Indiana dunes. This is zone 5-6. We get lots of snow in the winter, and lots of rain in the summer.

I found your blog in the new listings at Blotanical. Your African violets are very pretty.
