Possible Hazardous Weather

The weather radio says we may have bad storms today. I hope not, my iris are so pretty right now I'd hate for the wind to tear them up! A new one opened today. I've never seen it bloom before. Its a peachy flesh toned smaller flowered iris and I'm really liking it. I hope it grows and spreads as much and as fast as the maroon iris does, which needs to be divided this year.

The garlic chives in the dehydrator are still not dry yet. It baffles me that celery would take only 5 hours and the herbs take going on 3 days and not yet dry! I'm tempted to turn the heat up a notch on the dehydrator but I think I'll just have to keep patient.

On tap for this weekend, things that need to be done:

Jam making, pie making, bread making, dehydrating, pantry organizing, weeding and tending the garden.
